THE best hotel in the world has been revealed – and it's only two hours from the UK.
Passalacqua, built within an 18th-century villa, is found on the edge of Lake Como in Italy.
It was named the best hotel in the world at The World's Best 50 Hotels Awards last night.
There are just 24 rooms inside Passalacqua, with the hotel saying it is more like a "private home".
This includes the twelve-room Villa, the eight-room Palazz and the four-room Casa al Lago, with the latter being right by the lake.
Along with a private pool overlooking the lake, it also has direct access to the beach along with a private pier where you can rent boats with Beppe the boatman.

Expect classic Italian cuisine throughout the day, with "maritozzo" sweet buns for breakfast, picnic hampers or snacks at the pool bar, or classic pasta and risotto for dinner.
While at the hotel, there is a spa with both a sauna and steam bath for guests.
Daily activities include gelato-making, cooking lessons and flower arranging as well as outdoor yoga and even an outdoor cinema.
