Tenerife is home to TripAdvisor's ‘best waterpark in the world’ – and right now it's 23C over there | The Sun

TENERIFE is home to Siam Park, the ‘best waterpark in the world’, according to TripAdvisor.

The park is open all year round thanks to the destination’s balmy temperatures – making it a great spot for a family-friendly winter sun holiday.

Since its opening in 2008, Siam Park has been voted 'best in the world' for nine consecutive years.

It has an optimal location, too, as it’s situated in Costa Adeje, one of Tenerife’s busiest spots.

Tenerife is one of Brits’ favourite summer destinations, and it’s the most visited island of the Canaries.

Despite being a top choice in summer, plenty of deals are available even during winter, as the average temperature is 23C.

There is an average of six hours of sunshine and a low chance of rain, so waterparks are still fair game.

The park is open from 10am to 5pm in winter, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the rides.

The park is home to the world’s longest lazy river, with more than 30 slides and rides.
