Exact date Wetherspoons real ale festival is back – with pints from just £2

There's nothing like a cold pint at the end of a long day – or at any time for that matter.

But it's fair to say it tastes even better when it's cheaper than usual. So beer fans are in luck as Wetherspoons will be flogging pints for just £2.25 thanks to a special event.

More than 600 Wetherspoon pubs across the country will be hosting a 12-day real ale festival next month. It all kicks off on Wednesday, October 11 and will end on Sunday, October 22.

The boozy celebration will feature a wide variety of up to 30 real ales – including five from overseas brewers.

Wetherspoons claims the special festival beers will be up for grabs for £2.25 at 102 of its pubs. Furthermore, 424 pubs will charge £2.45 and 135 will charge £2.55 for a pint.

Before you head to your local boozer it's a good idea to look up how much a pint will be in your area so you don't end up disappointed. If you look at the chain's website you'll be able to find the information about your local branch.

You'll be able to snap up all the ales available at the bar, or you can also order them via the Wetherspoons app. If you're really into your beer, you'll even be able to take a look at the tasting notes on all the beers, as the information will be available at the pubs, and a digital copy will also be available to view online.

The pub chain is super popular with Brits, and many people now head there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The company previously announced it's launched student pricing across a range of products, and other people can take advantage of the deal too.

Any Spoons regular can order a menu item included in the deal and snap it up for a cheaper rate. The offer includes 60 food and drink items, and will be available up until Wednesday, October 11.

The pub hosts events throughout the year which enables people to snap up bargain booze. They're often advertised online so regulars don't miss out on the chance to make the most of the offers.

In addition to the popular Autumn festival, Wetherspoons also organises a 12-day Real Ale Festival every Spring. Typically it takes place between March and April each year.
