Michelle Keegan reunites with Coronation Street co-star at British Fashion Awards

Former Coronation Street stars Michelle Keegan and Helen Flanagan were all-smiles as they reunited at the British Fashion Awards on Monday evening.

The two former soapstars posed for a selfie inside the venue after walking the red carpet, with Helen, 33, sharing the photo to her Instagram Story, alongside the text: "Love you @michekeegan [pink heart emoji]"

For the event Michelle, 36, donned a black and white satin dress, which featured a tigh-high split, which she paired with a pair of lace-up boots, and gold and silver studded bag.

Meanwhile, Helen sported a black maxi-length dress, which featured a semi-sheer lace corseted bodice. She paired the glam dress strappy metallic heels and metallic jewellery.

Michelle starred in Corrie as Tina McIntyre from 2008 until 2014, when her character was killed off, while Helen appeared as Rosie Webster from 2000 until 2012, before returning for one year in 2017.

The pair's characters had a number of on-screen clashes, including several physical altercations.

Since leaving the soap Michelle has gone on to star in Our Girl, Brassic, and Ten Pound Poms.

And earlier this year Helen appeared on the all-star edition of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! titled I'm A Celebrity… South Africa.

Next year will see Helen's return to the world of acting, having been cast as Miss Scarlet in the UK touring production of Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter.

Sharing her excitement about the new role, Helen told her fans: "I've long been looking for the right theatre role for ages and I'm so excited to be making my stage acting debut in the iconic role of Miss Scarlett. It could not be more perfect!

"Cluedo 2 is going to be so much fun and I am thrilled to be working alongside such a great actor as Jason. I can't wait to begin rehearsals in the New Year, and, of course, wear the famous red dress!"

Elsewhere, Michelle and husband Mark Wright recently unveiled their lavish Christmas decorations, although they were not met with the positive reception they may have expected

The big reveal of the festive makeover of their £3.5 million home didn't go down well with some fans – who accused them of being tone-deaf about the current cost-of-living crisis.

But a source has exclusively revealed to OK! that the "hard-working couple" have learnt to "ignore the hate" when it comes to online backlash.

"They’re both very driven people and they work hard. That’s why they have the most beautiful home and they’re proud of it. They don’t care about the negative comments – they’ve learnt to ignore the hate" they said.
