EMILY PRESCOTT: Jenna’s Cry for new roles after slew of television murderers
Victoria star Jenna Coleman is fed up with playing grisly characters and is looking for new, less gruesome roles.
Jenna, 37, told The Italian Reve magazine: ‘At the moment, there’s this common theme of murderers, I don’t know where it’s coming from.’
Jenna – who played a child killer in TV series The Cry, and a murderer’s accomplice in The Serpent – has been turning down similar work and says she is on the hunt to play a character more open with their emotions.
