Here she gives a reader advice on how to be a good manager for their team.
Q) I’m in my early 30s and have spent the last 10 years job-hopping in order to rise through the ranks in my industry quite quickly.
Now that I’m settling down in my personal life and have reached quite a senior position in my career, I’d like to find a role at a company I can stay in for longer.
But I’m worried that potential employers will think I’m not loyal, or may perceive me to be flighty because of my history.
How do I explain moving from one company to another and reassure employers I won’t leave?

Before applying to any company, research the organisation thoroughly.
Tailor your application, cover letter and interview responses to demonstrate your genuine interest in that specific business.
Show that you’re not just looking for any job, but rather, you’re interested in joining this company for the long-haul.
In an interview, when discussing your desire to find a long-term role, explain that you’re looking for a company where you truly align with its culture and values.
Emphasise how important it is to find the right fit for you both personally and professionally in order to reach your career goals, and how you envision achieving them within a stable and supportive organisation.
This can demonstrate your dedication and willingness to invest in your future with a single company.
