London-based fashion brand YMC is a label that’s never been shy of experimentation. From its collaborations with the likes of Dave Swindells to its understated footwear designs, each YMC release is often packed with surprises that look to redefine inner-city fashion in the UK. This has been encapsulated once again by the brand, as the British imprint has just unveiled its latest Pre-2024 campaign.
As a whole, the new collection from YMC takes a relaxed approach; it’s packed with oversized silhouettes, and welcomes fabrications of denim and silk to keep things comfortable. It embraces the UK’s will-it-won’t-it weather, too, offering styles that can be easily transitioned from the windy depths of winter to the humid conditions found throughout the UK’s summer.
Highlights from the collection come in the form of a new womenswear silk dress, with the free-flowing silhouette hit with a slew of flower motifs and a sharp collar. Its button-up closure towards the neckline then adds a slice of sophistication, while its neutral navy blue color palette makes it an easily styled piece that can be dressed up or down.
Meanwhile, a new leather jacket is introduced with heavy-set zippers and pockets, while a shearling collar is welcomed to add a stretch of coziness. Rounding off the collection, plain white tees are included as layering pieces, used to complement dark blue jeans with raised stitched detailing.
