KAPPY DESIGN is an emerging label to watch, founded in Seoul, South Korea. The minimalistic workwear brand emulates everyday uniforms with comfort in mind, targeting relaxed silhouettes to last a lifetime. “We started at an unstable time, so there was a lot of trial and error, but we have been steadily developing the brand at our own pace. KAPPY DESIGN is a challenge and a new beginning that we embrace. Our collections are based around simplicity. Good quality washing, stitching and dyeing,” says its founder, Kanga.
For Spring/Summer 2024, KAPPY DESIGN heads to the office, taking a tour around its working grounds in elevated garments. The laidback offering is grounded in neutral tones, presenting an array of co-ed looks that are flexible and refined. Models carry boxes and scribble on notebooks in KAPPY DESIGN’s new collection, consisting of varsity-style cardigans, color-blocked windbreakers, and boxy shirting. Slouchy denim is paired with faded crewnecks in teal hues, while military-inspired overalls are crafted in lightweight fabrics. Sunshine-embroidered caps complete KAPPY DESIGN’s SS24 range.
