Casio’s G-SHOCK is always expanding its long lineage of signature shock-resistance watches. The latest addition sees the introduction of the new MUDMASTER flagship watch.
The GWGB1000 MUDMASTER marks the newest piece in G-SHOCK’s Master of G Line. Bringing the watch to the surface is its wilderness-leaning “overlanding” style, which is inspired by the spirit of adventure. As such, the watch boasts a rugged look that channels the aesthetic of survival equipment and off-road vehicles. What also stands out about the watch is its newly developed guard structure that features forged stainless steel with a diamond-like-carbon bezel ring coating, carbon fiber-reinforced resin for the side button guards and upper, lower and front bezel guards.
Furthermore, the timepiece includes three analog-digital combination editions in gray, maroon and forest green. To further strengthen the timepiece, its buttons feature cylindrical stainless-steel parts and the button shafts include gasket fittings for protection. Additional watch features include Tough Solar, which is solar-powered, multi-band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping, a Triple Sensor, Smartphone Link connectivity and the brand’s signature shock resistance.
Take a look at the new timepiece in the gallery above. Priced at $800 USD, the new MUDMASTER flagship watch is available now for pre-order online with a release date of October 13.
