Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck might be looking uncharacteristically close these days but there is reportedly no jealousy from Jennifer Lopez‘s camp — despite recent reports to the contrary.
Garner and Affleck separated in 2015 after 10 years of marriage and have had their fair share of ups and downs in the years since but, thankfully, things are looking up.
In recent weeks, Garner and Affleck have been seen hanging out on two occasions, laughing together and sharing an intimate embrace. The photos have caused quite a stir — even though it is clear these exes are happily in new relationships — and Affleck’s new wife, Lopez, is now is being dragged into the mix.
Initial reports claimed J.Lo was “furious” and “jealous” about Affleck and Garner’s bond but now a new source is defending the “Get Loud” singer to Daily Mail.
A source close to Lopez claimed the singer is delighted that her husband has a “happy co-parenting” relationship with his ex. “One of the things that made [Garner] and [Affleck] get to a better place was – and is – JLO,” the source shared.
“Ben is healthy. The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work.” The source says Lopez and Garner are “friendly” with one another and that all of their kids “love each other.”
Affleck and Garner share daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 13, and son Samuel, 11, while Lopez is a mom to 15-year-old twins Max and Emme from her marriage to Marc Anthony. “It is really a very happy co-parenting situation,” said the source. “Everything is really good right now and should be the same in the near and distant future.”
Despite claims that Garner and Affleck’s relationship was coming between his marriage, the source claims Lopez and Affleck are doing well a year into their marriage. “Their relationship is still on fire. They are really happy with each other, and there’s no drama in their relationship right now at all,” they revealed.
