Singer Liam Payne has reportedly been rushed to hospital with intense kidney pain.
According to The Sun, the former One Direction star was visiting Lake Como in Italy with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy at the time to celebrate their one year anniversary when he started to feel unwell.
But this isn't the first time Liam, who is dad to Bear who he co-parents with his ex Cheryl, has faced something similar as the recurring problem led to him cancelling a tour last month.
Doctors are said to be looking into the issue after he was rushed to A&E in an ambulance.
Liam was then checked into a hospital ward for emergency treatment, where he is set to stay for several days.
OK! have contacted Liam's representatives for comment.
The latest scare comes just weeks after he told fans he had been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, forcing him to cancel his first solo tour.
This news has obviously caused concern for fans, who quickly rushed to social media to send the singer their comfort and support.
"Hope you're okay and recover quickly. Sending you all the love," one wrote. Another posted, "Sending love and healing to Liam. PLEASE take all the time you need to rest and recover."
It was only a matter of weeks ago that Liam posted a heartfelt video to his Instagram account, and explained that he would be cancelling his upcoming tour of South America.
He admitted it was due to a “serious kidney infection” which left him spending time in the hospital. The dad-of-one then apologised and explained he started rehearsals but was advised that it was “not the right time” to be going on tour due to his health.
Liam explained in the caption that he had “no other choice” but to postpone the tour and that his “serious kidney infection” is not something he would “wish on anyone”.
The Strip That Down singer said: “It’s with a heavy heart I have to tell you that we have no other choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America. Over the past week I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors orders are that I now need to rest and recover.
“I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To all of you who have bought tickets: I’m so sorry. We’re working to re-schedule the tour as soon as we possibly can, but for now we will be refunding the tickets – so please look out for updates from your point of purchase.”
Liam, who appeared saddened at the thought of letting his fans down, concluded and wrote: “Thanks as always for the love and support, and look forward to seeing you soon.”
The tour was scheduled to take place this September and Liam has now told fans that, hopefully, he will put on a “bigger and better show” in the future.
