The holiday hotspot without the Brits but with quiet beaches and 24C winter weather – and breaks are just £154pp | The Sun

IF you're already looking for some winter sun, then there's a great spot just a few hours from the UK.

While most Brit holidaymakers heading to Egypt visit Sharm El-Sheikh or Hurghada, there's also another spot with warm winter weather and cheap breaks.

Set on Egypt’s Red Sea, the resort town of El Gouna lies just 12 miles away from Hurghada, and is quickly becoming a popular spot among Brit tourists.

The resort town is just a 30-minute drive from Hurghada Airport, and flights are less than six hours from the UK.

Wizz Air and easyJet operate direct flights from the UK to Hurghada Airport.

Temperatures in El Gouna can even reach 24C in the winter – making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers.
