My husband's work trip colleague is worryingly hot | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: My husband’s frequent work trips abroad are making me paranoid.

He’s away so often that I’m sure he must be cheating.

We’ve been married for 15 years. I’m 40, he’s 43 and we have two teenage kids.

He works for a software company with offices abroad, and he regularly has to visit them for a week at a time.

I get left at home with the children and the house to run, while he’s staying in hotels and going out for posh dinners.

I never get time to myself. This year, he’s been away four times, on each occasion with the same colleague.

I met her at last year’s Christmas do. She’s very attractive and ten years younger than me.

He denies he fancies her, but I can’t help imagining what they get up to when he’s in a hotel room.

I hate it when he’s away but he says he has no choice and I should be pleased he has a good job.

Am I being unreasonable?

DEIDRE SAYS:  There’s no evidence that your husband is cheating.

Your paranoia is more an expression of your unhappiness at so often being left alone to carry the can, and feeling taken for granted.

You need to talk to him about this and work together on your relationship. It’s not fair of him to dismiss your fears.
