After launching its eighth collaboration with Supreme last month, Stone Island has returned with a new Fall/Winter 2023 capsule collection, spotlighting its Nylon Metal textile. The fabric, which boasts a classic iridescent effect and comes in colors including orange, turquoise, electric blue, light green and petrol, utilizes ECONYL® regenerated yarns to mimic the same intrinsic characteristics of nylon from fossil raw material.
In this capsule, the brand finishes its Nylon Metal with a macro ripstop, which forms the line’s selection of down bomber jackets, anoraks and insulated trousers. The bomber jackets and coordinating pants, which don Stone Island’s signature iconography on its arm, are packed with fine feathers that are specifically treated to withstand the garment-dyeing process. Notably, the coloring procedure includes a double-color recipe and an added PFC-free anti-drop agent.
The collection’s anorak, meanwhile, is padded with PrimaLoft®-TC, a high-performing mixture of insulating fibers. The blend is 70% recycled, and it’s specifically engineered to hold Stone Island’s garment dyeing. On the construction front, the jacket features a hood with drawstring functionality and two front pockets situated in the center of the chest.
