Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick just reminded us that love is alive and well!
On Sept 4, the You Should Have Left star shared a seriously touching throwback photo in honor of his and Sedgwick’s anniversary. He shared the photo with the caption reading, “35 years feels like a heartbeat. #Anniversary.”

In the photo, we see a shirtless Bacon giving his beloved wife kisses on the forehead, with her happily lying on him in a pink tank top and cream khaki skirt.
And in case you were wondering, there’s more! Bacon wasn’t the only one to share an incredibly touching tribute, because Sedgwick shared another throwback photo to her Instagram. She shared the photos with the caption reading, “It was 1987- on the set of ‘Lemon Sky‘ – I met a man named Kevin. Happy 35 my love.”

Within this summer of celebrity breakups, these posts remind us that true love does exist, and that Bacon and Sedgwick have remained relationship goals for nearly 40 years and counting!
Bacon and Sedgwick married on Sept 4, 1988; after meeting on the set of the 1988 film Lemon Sky. They began their relationship in Feb 1987, and have been so in love since. Along with that, they later welcomed two children named Travis, born in 1989, and Sosie Ruth, born in 1992.
