Academy Award winner addresses her sexuality after former 'The View' co-star says she gives off 'lesbian vibes'

Her sexuality has been questioned many times over the years, and Whoopi Goldberg has no problem setting the record, well, straight. While on Raven-Symoné’s podcast, the “Sister Act” star said, “Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around, I am not a lesbian. But I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television.”

On a recent episode of “The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda,” Raven revealed she had an attraction to Whoopi — particularly when they co-hosted “The View” together from 2015 to 2016. Raven even told the EGOT winner, “you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes!”

The eyebrow-raising chat had other moments that centered on sexuality, including Whoopi detailing the boundaries she has to set for gay friends.

Maybe Raven-Symoné isn’t the only one who thinks the thrice-married Whoopi Goldberg gives off “lesbian vibes.” The “Color Purple” actress said she has to set boundaries with gay friends. “I’ll tell them, ‘I’m not gonna kiss you, but I’ll kiss you over here, I’ll do this, but I’m not going to do this’ … and they’re like, ‘OK!'” Raven didn’t reveal whether she was given boundaries, but she couldn’t resist laying it all out there for Whoopi.

“Honestly, when I was around you, I loved you so much, like, I just wanted to be up underneath the t**** the whole time, but that’s also because you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes!” Raven said on her podcast. “Sometimes, Whoops, you give me lesbian vibes, you give me stud vibes.”

Raven-Symoné’s wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, didn’t have a problem with the confession — nor was she surprised. Raven, according to her wife, “wants everybody to be gay.” Said Miranda, “I think this is a secret fantasy of Raven’s. I think she just wants everybody to be gay and she’s just really hoping you’ll come out right here, right now.”

Spoiler alert: Whoopi did not come out on the podcast.
