Emmerdale’s Danny Miller reacts as viewers fume they ‘don’t like’ Aaron Dingle

Aaron and Billy get into a fight on Emmerdale

Emmerdale actor Danny Miller has reacted to viewers who have criticised his character Aaron Dingle on the ITV soap.

The 32-year-old received comments from viewers on social media, after not being happy with Aaron’s actions on the show.

One person took to X, formerly known as Twitter to tell Aaron: “Aaron, I don’t like you at the moment (Sorry @DannyBMiller) #Emmerdale.”

The I’m A Celebrity winner took the comment in jest and reassured the fan that his character won’t be acting the way he is currently, forever.

He responded: “Join the club. He won’t be like this forever,” and added crying with laughter emojis.

Another soap fan commented: “He can still bloody cry tho… Best crier on TV….,” with Danny responding: “Hahaha I’ll take that one Sandra.”

A third user criticised the character, but went on to tell the actor that he is doing a great job portraying him.

They said: “I really hope you won’t be like that forever, but it just shows what a great actor you are, we went from loving Aaron to really not liking him at all. Great work, Danny.”

“I’ll take that mate thank you,” the grateful star expressed.

Last Wednesday, during an action-packed instalment of Emmerdale, Aaron and Billy Fletcher (played by Jay Kontzle) came to physical blows.

Tensions have been mounting between the two men while Billy’s partner Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromely) has been preoccupied with her baby shower.

Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) was forced to break the men up before either one of them ended up needing medical assistance.

After the punch-up, viewers flocked to social media to complain about Aaron’s comeback on the ITV soap.

Aaron returned to Emmerdale last month after more than a year away from the Yorkshire Dales-based serial drama.

Viewers were initially thrilled to see him back on screens, but they are now questioning why his personality has become so volatile, with some calling for the character to be axed from the show altogether.
