PRINCE Harry will watch The Crown after his pals scour it to make sure nothing can traumatise him, a source claims. <\/p>\n

Netflix's show is set to\u00a0cause fresh chaos\u00a0today as the sixth and\u00a0final season of the series hits screens. <\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

The series notably\u00a0features\u00a0the event that shook the British monarchy to its core — the death of\u00a0Princess Diana\u00a0on August 31, 1997.<\/p>\n

The new season will controversially reenact the last few months of Princess Di's troubled life. <\/p>\n

Now a source has claimed Harry, 39, will watch the show – after he admitted to watching episodes in the past. <\/p>\n

However, a pal of the prince told the Telegraph they would watch it first to make sure there was nothing that would deeply upset him. <\/p>\n

The Sun has approached Harry's representatives for comment.<\/p>\n

At the same time, sources have claimed Prince William will not watch the show – and he never has.<\/p>\n

Netflix had previously come under fire for its reenactments of Diana's life – including the famous Panorama interview, which Wills said should never be shown again. <\/p>\n

Producers took the most inflammatory parts of\u00a0Princess Di\u2019s hour-long 1995 interview and condensed them into a segment lasting four minutes, 23 seconds.<\/p>\n

They include Diana referencing the \u201ccrowded marriage\u201d she endured while Charles was having an affair with\u00a0Camilla Parker Bowles.<\/p>\n

She was also seen saying she wants to be \u201ca queen in people\u2019s hearts\u201d but does not think she will ever be Queen herself.<\/p>\n

An investigation later found interviewer\u00a0Martin Bashir used forgery and deception\u00a0to gain access to the Princess.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Wills isn't the only royal who was said to have refused to watch the show – Prince Phillip reportedly never watched it either. <\/p>\n

Actor Matt Smith claimed the late Queen used to watch it though. <\/p>\n

He told the International News: "She used to watch it on a projector on a Sunday night, apparently.<\/p>\n

"I know that Philip definitely didn't [watched the show].<\/p>\n

\u201cA friend of mine sat next to him at a dinner once, and he asked him.<\/p>\n

"My friend couldn't resist. By the end of the meal, he was like, 'Philip, I have to ask. Have you watched The Crown?'\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd [he] apparently turned 'round to him and went, 'Don't be ridiculous'." <\/p>\n

It comes as it was this morning reported royal insiders were furious over claims William ignored his brother's messages as the Queen died.<\/p>\n

In the book it was also claimed the brothers'\u00a0relationship is "beyond repair" as Wills views\u00a0his brother as a "defector".<\/p>\n

The author says there's\u00a0"no going back" for the brothers\u00a0and "absolutely nothing has changed" in their relationship since the release of Harry's memoir Spare earlier this year.<\/p>\n
