Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Robin Windsor claims show feuds are down to \u201cbig egos\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old dancer first appeared on series eight of the competition alongside Patsy Kensit, before being partnered with Anita Dobson, Lisa Riley and Deborah Meaden.<\/p>\n

Due to undergoing surgery on his back, Robin didn\u2019t participate in series 12 of the show and was later replaced by one of his \u201cbest friends\u201d, Trent Whiddon.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Betway, the dancer got candid with whom he keeps in touch with from his time on Strictly.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI speak to Lisa quite regularly. I probably see Deborah more than anybody else, which is odd because when I was first partnered with her, I thought we would have nothing in common.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elaborating on why he believed he could have clashed with the 64-year-old, Robin stated: \u201cWe\u2019re from completely different worlds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been very lucky that I had four very wonderful partners on the show. It would have been horrible if I didn\u2019t get on with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Suffolk-born star went on to claim that it can become \u201creally awkward\u201d if professional dancers on the show fail to get on with their celebrity partner.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s down to personality clashes and ego,\u201d Robin explained. \u201cSome celebrities and professionals have quite big egos, so if there are two big egos, they\u2019re going to clash.\u201d<\/p>\n
