King Charles is a proud parent and grandparent – which is good news considering he has two children and 10 grandchildren.<\/p>\n

He has five grandchildren from his sons Prince William and Prince Harry; Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, Prince Louis, five, Prince Archie Harrison, four and Princess Lilibet Diana, two.<\/p>\n

But he also has five step-grandchildren, as his wife Queen Camilla is grandma to Lola Parker Bowles, Eliza Lopes, Louis Lopes, Gus Lopes, and Freddy Parker Bowles.<\/p>\n

Over the years, King Charles has interacted with many of his grandchildren in public and Express.co.uk spoke to body language expert Judi James who analysed a variety of images of him with his grandchildren.<\/p>\n

The expert explained how he displays \u201cplayful\u201d body language with some of them – but not all.<\/p>\n

Judi said: \u201cSome of the most powerful images of Charles in a grandfather-like mode come from moments he has spent with Camilla\u2019s grandchildren.<\/p>\n

\u201cCamilla previously described Charles in glowing terms as getting down on his knees and \u2018crawling around with them for hours making funny noises\u2019 and reading Harry Potter to them while doing all the voices.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw Charles with his arm held protectively around little Lola\u2019s waist on the balcony at William and Kate\u2019s wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is also a carefree image of him happily swinging one of Camilla\u2019s grandchildren around in the garden while the others run around nearby.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the Highland Games these very relaxed, playful relationships were made clear in the way Camilla\u2019s grandchildren seemed happy to run up and hug or touch Charles with no apparent sense of his status.<\/p>\n

\u201cCharles is also seen to have a very warm relationship with little Louis, who has been seen hugging his grandad, who is looking totally delighted and smitten, or even pushing his hand into his grandfather\u2019s face playfully, much to Charles\u2019s amusement,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

As for how Charles interacts with Prince Harry\u2019s children, there are seldom public photographs of these occasions.<\/p>\n

Back in November 2019, the Sussex\u2019s shared a photograph of Charles standing alongside his youngest son, who had baby Archie in his arms.<\/p>\n
