A number of rap icons and next-gen hip-hop superstars have been added to the massive lineup for “A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop” live concert special, celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, which the Recording Academy is honoring all year along.<\/p>\n
2 Chainz<\/b>, T.I.<\/b>, Gunna<\/b>, Too $hort<\/b>, Latto<\/b>, E-40<\/b>, Big Daddy Kane<\/b>, GloRilla<\/b>, Juvenile<\/b>, Three 6 Mafia<\/b>, Cypress Hill<\/b>, Jeezy<\/b>, DJ Quik<\/b>, MC Lyte<\/b>, Roxanne Shante<\/b>, Warren G<\/b>, YG<\/b>, Digable Planets<\/b>, Arrested Development<\/b>, Spinderella<\/b>, Black Sheep<\/b>, and Luniz<\/b> have been added to the list of performers.<\/p>\n
The star-studded tribute will take place on November 8 at the YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California.<\/p>\n
Airing December 10, at 8:30 p.m. ET\/PT on the CBS Television Network<\/i> and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+<\/i>, the two-hour live concert special will showcase the history of hip-hop and celebrate the genre’s cultural impact around the world. The special will feature exclusive performances from hip-hop legends and Grammy-winning artists.<\/p>\n
