For the first time, Elon explained, from his perspective, why negotiations broke down, torpedoing the bout.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/imagez.tmz.com\/image\/6a\/16by9\/2023\/11\/01\/6afec62a60d84da5affddc1e59dcb4d8_md.jpg\"            loading=\"lazy\"          ><\/p>\n<p>\u201cItaly actually was willing to let us use the Coliseum,\u201d Musk told Rogan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/imagez.tmz.com\/image\/35\/4by3\/2023\/08\/11\/35a4adffdae340e9bfacaf77659e547c_md.jpg\"          loading=\"lazy\"          alt=\"\"        ><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was like, well, can\u2019t turn that down. Then I was like, well, if it\u2019s going to be in the Coliseum, I like UFC and everything, but we don\u2019t have tons of ads in UFC branding on the Coliseum &#8217;cause it\u2019s a place of great history. You don\u2019t want to have it be all like NASCAR. And then Zuck pulled out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course, talk of the fight between the two ultra-wealthy moguls started around the time Zuck <strong>launched his X-competitor<\/strong>, Threads. Elon tweeted he was &#8220;up for a cage match,&#8221; and Mark responded, channeling <strong>Khabib<\/strong>, saying &#8230; &#8220;Send me location.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And, we were off &#8230; unfortunately, a deal never materialized, and Zuck accused Musk of screwing around with <strong>no intention<\/strong> to actually fight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[Zuckerberg] accused me of not being serious, and I said, \u2018Listen, at the end of the day, I\u2019ll fight you any place, anywhere, under any rules,\u2019\u201d Elon told Joe.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/imagez.tmz.com\/image\/c6\/4by3\/2023\/07\/24\/c6b422ab40c64538899ae333cf23800d_md.jpg\"          loading=\"lazy\"          alt=\"\"        ><\/p>\n<p>As for who&#8217;d win the fight, Elon&#8217;s clearly heard the people who say Mark would kick his ass because of his jiu-jitsu experience. He doesn&#8217;t agree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m like 50% heavier than him,\u201d 6&#8217;2&#8243;, 240-ish lb. Musk said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve got my patented &#8216;walrus&#8217; move. I just lie on him.
