The ringbound leather file is from 1945 when the then 28-year-old was a special correspondent for Hearst Newspapers.<\/p>\n

Its 12 handwritten and 49 typed pages cover JFK\u2019s time at the opening session of the UN in San Francisco and his extensive travels through post-war Europe.<\/p>\n

He followed PM Winston Churchill on his British re-election campaign and attended the Potsdam conference of Second World War leaders Churchill, Russia\u2019s Joseph Stalin and US President Harry Truman.<\/p>\n

JFK visited the ruins of Hitler\u2019s Berlin bunker where he killed himself and the tyrant\u2019s Eagle\u2019s Nest lair in Berchtesgaden.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cAfter visiting these two places, you can easily understand how that within a few years Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived…he had a mystery about him in the way he lived and in the manner of his death that will live and grow after him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had in him the stuff of which legends are made.\u201d It is tipped to fetch more than \u00a3412,000 at RR Auction of Boston, US, on November 8. The firm\u2019s Bobby Livingston said: \u201cJFK wrongly predicts Hitler will rise from the ashes to be regarded as a great man.\u201d<\/p>\n

JFK\u2019s aide Deirdre Henderson said he gave her the diary in 1959 so \u201cI could better understand his ideas on foreign policy\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 35th US President was shot dead in Dallas on November 22, 1963.The sale also includes a window from the Texas School Book Depository \u2013 killer Lee Harvey Oswald is said to have fired from the building. It comes from a former FBI analyst and is estimated at \u00a320,000.<\/p>\n

There is also part of a fence from the grassy knoll from where another shooter is said to have fired \u2013 valued at \u00a38,000.<\/p>\n
