WILKO shoppers say they are "going to be lost" as the retailer closes its remaining stores for the last time today.<\/p>\n
The discounter will bring the shutters down on the final 41 stores later this afternoon marking the end of an era.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The high street discounter tumbled into administration on August 10 and has gradually been shutting down its stores.<\/p>\n
Today, the last remaining sites will shut for good marking the end of an era and wiping the face of Wilko from our high streets.<\/p>\n
The stores that are set to close today for the final time today are in the following locations: <\/p>\n

Shoppers have been taking to social media to share their sadness at the loss of the much-loved retailer.<\/p>\n
One person commenting on the Coventry closure said: "I will miss that shop the shop assistants were so helpful."<\/p>\n
Another shopper said: "So sad I'm going to be lost without Wilko's my favourite shop."<\/p>\n
While another added: "What a great shame Wilko was always the first go-to place for anything."<\/p>\n

Wilko has been shutting its branches down since September 12 starting with closures in Liverpool Suffolk and Cardiff.<\/p>\n
Thousands of workers have been left without jobs as the retailer was unable to find a buyer to take on the entire business.<\/p>\n
Some Wilko stores have been snapped up by rival discounter B&M as part of a \u00a313million deal.<\/p>\n
Poundland also bought out 71 Wilko locations and has already started to open them up under its brand name.<\/p>\n
Locations in Chepstow, Nottingham and South Wales have already reopened under the Poundland name.<\/p>\n
However, all is not lost for the Wilko brand and customers will still be able to see it online.<\/p>\n
The Range has bought up the brand and the website in a \u00a35million deal.<\/p>\n
A message on the Wilko website is promising customers that\u00a0home\u00a0delivery is "returning soon".<\/p>\n
