In a new interview filmed outside Croydon police station, Laurence Fox said he found out he\u2019d been sacked by GB News while in custody.<\/p>\n
He also ranted about Sadiq Khan and free speech hours after GB News confirmed it had ended its employment relationship with Fox.<\/p>\n
The controversial actor-cum-commentator, 45, was previously suspended by the broadcaster over a\u00a0string of remarks\u00a0<\/strong>about female journalist Ava Evans.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, GB News confirmed that it had ended its employment relationship with Fox and with Calvin Robinson \u2013 another\u00a0broadcaster who had been suspended after supporting Fox.<\/strong><\/p>\n The decision came just hours after\u00a0Fox was arrested<\/strong>, it was confirmed.<\/p>\n In a statement to Metro.co.uk<\/strong>, the Met Police said: \u2018On Wednesday 4, October officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting offences to be committed.<\/p>\n To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a webbrowser thatsupports HTML5video<\/p>\n \u2018He was arrested in Stockwell and has been taken to a South London police station where he remains in custody.\u2019<\/p>\n Speaking to Sky News on Wednesday evening, Fox ranted: \u2018It\u2019s not GB News, it\u2019s GB joke.\u2019<\/p>\n He went on: \u2018I found out about the GB News sacking, in there [the police station].\u2019<\/p>\n Speaking about his arrest, Fox added to the outlet: \u2018They\u2019ve let me go.
