Fort Lauderdale-based Apocalypse Manufacturing, known for its off-road builds, has unveiled its latest creation named the Apocalypse Nirvana. This new vehicle is not just a mere off-roader but a power-packed electric beast that sports over 850 horsepower, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in a mere three seconds.

The Nirvana isn’t shy on features either, flaunting 38-inch tires mounted on 20-inch by 12-inch SFJ wheels, a meticulously handcrafted aluminum roll cage and sidesteps, as well as skid plates at both the front and rear for rough terrains. In addition to providing a tough-looking aesthetic, the vehicle’s full Kevlar paint job also provides durability and utility, as the coat makes it highly resistant to scratches, rust and erosion.

Notable capabilities of the vehicle include a dynamic computer-controlled suspension built from scratch, a 350-mile range with top-of-the-industry fast charge times and 11,000 lbs of towing capacity — alongside standard Rivian R1T features like hands-free highway driving.

Despite its rugged exterior, the Nirvana also offers a luxurious cabin, complete with black leather bucket seats at the front, with the same material carried over to the bench seats at the rear. The vehicle features three different LED screens, an interactive and customizable instruments screen, an infotainment touchscreen at the front and touchscreen climate controls at the rear.

With this being the first Rivian the group has worked on, Joseph Ghattas, the Founder and CEO of Apocalypse Manufacturing, expressed his initial hesitations about the electric vehicle sector. However, his experience behind the Nirvana’s steering wheel changed his perception.

He shared “It’s fast, with raging power and teeth-clenching torque, so really, I wanted to give it the look it deserved to match the powerplant. Make it big, with a lift that works with the original equipment provided, so that’s what we did and I feel this vehicle represents our dedication to redefining the concept of luxury off-road super trucks. Why do EV vehicles have to look sterile or bland, stripped of their masculinity? This is a badass truck, it’s time it looks and acts like one.”

Retail for the Nirvana is set to start at $150,000 USD, available via inquiry only through Apocalypse Manufacturing’s official site.
