While many people prefer to cook this French meal in a frying pan, this recipe by Brandie, author of The Country Cook food blog is even quicker and easier to make.<\/p>\n
Her \u201cfavourite quick and easy breakfast\u201d can be cooked in the microwave using just three ingredients and one standard-sized mug.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Start by spraying a microwave-safe mug with nonstick cooking spray, or lightly greasing it with some oil.<\/p>\n Crack two eggs into the microwave-safe mug and add one tablespoon of tap water before stirring with a fork to combine the liquid.<\/p>\n Season the eggs with salt and pepper, along with any other seasonings being used. Chilli flakes, garlic granules and dried herbs are all good options.<\/p>\n Add in the desired fillings, ensuring all are evenly diced to encourage a steady cooking time between all of them.<\/p>\n Microwave for one to two minutes (until eggs are cooked through and fluffy), then serve and enjoy.<\/p>\n Brandie said: “The cooking time can vary depending on the power of your microwave, but generally one to two minutes on high should be sufficient.<\/p>\n “Check the omelette after one minute and continue microwaving in 30-second intervals until the eggs are set.”<\/p>\nIngredients<\/h3>\n
