The supermarket issued an urgent warning to the public after one of its products was recalled by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).<\/p>\n
According to the FSA, the item in question was the Morrisons own Spanish Chorizo Ring.<\/p>\n
Customers who have purchased selected batches were urged not to eat them because they may contain salmonella.<\/p>\n
Salmonella is a bacteria that can make people sick and can be found in a variety of foods, including chicken, beef, pork, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and even processed foods.<\/p>\n
Symptoms of a salmonella infection usually include diarrhoea, fever, abdominal cramps, chills, headache, nausea, or vomiting.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n A statement from Morrisons read: “Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund.<\/p>\n “We don\u2019t need a receipt. No other products are affected by this issue.<\/p>\n “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”<\/p>\n The supermarket also recently removed selected batches of the St Pierre Pains Au Chocolats due to possible mould contamination.<\/p>\n Best before:<\/strong><\/p>\n Morrisons urged customers to return items with the above best-before dates back to their nearest store to receive a full refund, regardless of whether they have a receipt.<\/p>\nProduct details<\/h3>\n
