Jade Goody\u2019s mum Jackiey Budden has shared her pride ahead of Bobby Brazier\u2019s Strictly Come Dancing debut.<\/p>\n
Bobby, 20, joins the likes of Amanda Abbington, Zara McDermott, Les Dennis, and Angela Rippon as part of the Strictly 2023 cast when the glitzy dance show returns next month.<\/p>\n
And when her grandson waltzes onto her TV screen, Jackiey has admitted it\u2019ll feel like watching her own daughter all over again.<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old said she is \u2018over the moon\u2019 that Bobby has signed up for Strictly this year, as his late mum \u2013 who died in 2009, aged 27 \u2013 was a huge fan of the show.<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019m over the moon and he\u2019s just stepped in his mum\u2019s shoes \u2014 he\u2019s in Jade\u2019s trotters,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
\u2018He\u2019s been born to bring Jade back as himself, because he\u2019s the spit of Jade \u2014 he\u2019s got his daddy\u2019s head. It will be like watching her on telly.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jackiey added to The Mirror that is still close to her grandson, who stars in EastEnders.<\/p>\n
However, his hectic work schedule means they don\u2019t get to see each other much, as she lives in South London and the soap records in Hertfordshire.<\/p>\n
\u2018He has to get up at 5am for EastEnders sometimes, so he\u2019s always on the go,\u2019 she explained. <\/p>\n
\u2018We always text though which is lovely. He likes to keep an eye on his nana, just like Freddie does.\u2019<\/p>\n
Jackiey also said it was always her grandson\u2019s dream to get into acting after achieving success as a model.<\/p>\n

Her sweet comments come after Goody\u2019s widower revealed what she would think of her son taking part in Strictly.<\/p>\n
Jack Tweed, 36, was\u00a0married to the Big Brother star\u00a0a month before her\u00a0death from cervical cancer.<\/p>\n
He said Goody would be \u2018bursting with pride\u2019 for Bobby and \u2018and all he\u2019s achieved.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018For someone so young, he has already achieved so much. Bobby has modelled for Dolce & Gabbana and all the top brands.<\/p>\n
\u2018Then he went on to get a job on\u00a0EastEnders\u00a0and now he\u2019s appearing on Strictly. <\/p>\n
