YOU can live your dream of being a prince or princess by renting a castle in the UK – where you can sleep in the turrets.
Even better, it is just around the corner from Alton Towers, so you can fit in some rides and attractions too.
Caverswall Castle in Staffordshire dates back to the 13th century when it was owned by the noble Caverswall family.
Over hundreds of years, the castle fell into ruins, until it was rebuilt by a local wool merchant who kept the original moat.
It is one of the few castles in England which still has its original moat and it Grad I listed.
The 800-year-old castle’s entrance has a beautifully carved sandstone bridge that would have replaced the original drawbridge.
You can stay in one of four self-contained stone castle turrets, each with views of the moat and wildlife. or in one of the main castle's ensuite bedrooms.
If you want some extra luxury, you can also pay extra for a private chef to prepare you a meal onsite, although there are pubs and takeaways a short drive away.
