You can currently get £10 ferry tickets to the Isle of Wight festival for 2020

If you're planning to hit the Isle of Wight Festival in 2020, then you may want to check out a new deal on ferry transport to the hotspot.

That's because ferry provider Wightlink currently has day return tickets from £10pp for foot passengers – which includes the weekend of the festival itself (the 11th-14th June 2020).

If you're planning to stay for the whole of the festival, you can find return tickets from £16pp for foot passengers.

But that's not the only deal on offer.

Vehicle travel starts from £44 for a day return – which means if there are five of you travelling by car, that works out at just £8.80 per person for the day's travel.

For those planning to stay longer, there are returns currently going from £64.50 per vehicle.

You can already book the discounted tickets on the Wightlink website.

  • You can now book a dreamy adults-only treehouse in the UK and it has a hot tub

The offer on vehicle travel lasts until Tuesday 31st December 2019, but if you're opting for foot passenger deals you'll have a much larger window with deals valid on bookings made before the 1st June 2020.

The festival itself takes place from the 11th-14th June 2020 at Seaclose Park.

The Isle of Wight Festival line-up has already been revealed with headline acts including Lewis Capaldi, The Chemical Brothers, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie and Snow Patrol, as well as plenty more names expected to be announced in the coming months. (You can read more in our Isle of Wight festival guide).

Getting to the festival from the ferry port is fairly easy.

If you've arrived as a foot passenger, you can get shuttle buses from the ferry port directly to the festival bus station.

If you're arriving by car, you can park at the festival site – although it's worth noting you'll want to pay for this in advance when you book festival tickets.
