Bag last-minute holiday park breaks in the UK this autumn from £69

AS the popularity of UK staycations sky-rockets, holiday parks around the country are selling short breaks at rock-bottom prices this autumn.

Families can snap up discounted deals to the seaside throughout October, with Park Holidays offering mini breaks for £99, plus an exclusive extra saving of 20 per cent at 20 of its best parks.

Last-minute breaks on the Isle of Sheppey are currently up for grabs for £99 at Park Holidays’ Harts site, which features resort-style facilities such as an indoor pool and an on-site restaurant that are typical of the holiday company’s parks.

There’s also late availability at Park Holidays’ south Kentish coast resorts, including countryside park Marlie just a short drive from the beach with 4-night stays from £109 before the extra discount is applied.

At Park Holidays’ Essex sites including peaceful Martello Beach and lively Seawick near Clacton-on-Sea, you can scoop up a short stay from £109 now that peak season is over.

Stays are in luxury gold-plus caravans with 2-3 bedrooms that sleep 4-6 people, so you can bring the whole family, plus your pets if you wish.

The 20 per cent discount only applies to breaks with arrival dates on 11, 18 or 29 October, and must be booked at least 8 days in advance of your stay.

To take advantage of the extra saving, enter code PHUK20 at the checkout when booking on Break Free Holidays website.

Meanwhile, other well-known holiday park specialists are slashing prices to attract families this autumn, including Pontins and Haven.

Haven has last-minute breaks at its Golden Sands and Thorpe Park seaside sites in Lincolnshire from £64.50 for a 4-night stay, or head to the Norfolk coast for a 4-night break from £69 at Caister-on-Sea this October.

Short breaks to Haven’s Riviere Sands park overlooking St Ives bay in Cornwall are also a steal from £98 for four nights this October.

Stays are in smart chalets offering all mod cons and ranging from standard to premium lodges with outdoor decking.

Tailored to the location, there are more than a hundred different indoor and outdoor activities on offer at Haven’s holiday parks including surf school in Cornwall and hunting for dinosaurs along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

UK family holiday specialist Pontins has put its October breaks on sale too.

Late escapes to its coastal parks in Camber Sands, East Sussex and Prestatyn Sands in North Wales are from £69 for a four-night chalet stay.

While autumn getaways to its Somerset site, Brean Sands are available from just £79 based on a family of four sharing a self-catering apartment.
