From a mesmerising double rainbow over Norway to an incredible sunrise in Indonesia: The top 50 entries to a photo contest that show Mother Nature in all her glory

  • The stunning photographs all made it into the top 50 in of Agora Images’ #Nature2019 photo contest

It’s hard to deny the beauty of Mother Nature.

And even harder when you look at these incredible entries to an international photography competition that shows some of her best work.

The stunning pictures all made the top 50 in Agora Images’ #Nature2019 photo contest. They have been selected from more than 13,500 submissions to the photography app’s competition.

They range from a mesmerising image of a double rainbow over Norway as well as an atmospheric sunrise over Mount Bromo in Indonesia. Other eye-catching entries include an aerial image of the horseshoe-shaped Vltava River in the Czech Republic, a dramatic underwater shot of a woman diving off the coast of Menorca and a perfectly timed snap of a chameleon catching its prey. 

Agora users can now vote for their favourite of out of the 50 shortlisted images. The winning image will be announced on September 5 and the photographer will receive a cash prize of $1,000.

A rare double rainbow shines over the water in Norway. The incredible image was snapped by photographer Paal Uglefisk
