Sweet-toothed fans of Krispy Kremes can now get their hands on a whole box of their favourite snack for free.
The doughnut company is inviting customers to pop into their shops across the UK one minute before closing time to pick up a box of four Krispy Kremes, totally free of charge.
Since launching in 1937, the fast food chain has made its doughnuts fresh every day, and the initiative is designed to clear the shelves for the next batches.
To be in with the chance to pick up a box of doughnuts, savvy shoppers must arrive one minute prior to the shop’s closing time and let a Krispy Kreme employee know that they’re there for the ‘Last Minute Box Offer.’
The offer is available until 12th March so those looking for a sweet treat will need to act quickly.

Emma Colquhoun, Chief Marketing Officer UK & Ireland at Krispy Kreme said: ‘We are committed to having a positive role in tackling food waste, and are already working in partnership with “Too Good To Go”, the world’s largest surplus food platform, to reduce food waste.’
She added: ‘We’re thrilled that we’re able to offer another way to reduce waste, while also helping customers save money and spread joy.’

While they were mainly checking that the offer would be available at their local store others shared their joy at the new offer.
One customer said: ‘This was a lovely treat tonight! Thanks Krispy Kreme UK!’
Another happy customer wrote: ‘Thank you for our sweet treats for a belated Xmas treat at the theatre.’
Another person added: ‘This is a great idea Krispy Kreme UK. It combats food waste and gives people a delicious treat too. Does this include the Woking Krispy Kreme Store?’
And another commented: ‘This type of offer could be beneficial for the homeless, and other individuals who use cash instead of contactless payment methods.’
Earlier this year Krispy Kreme revealed that they were adding low calorie options to their already extensive menu.

The two new flavours will sit alongside the iconic Original Glazed, making up a new tempting low calorie trio, and will be available for a limited time until 29 January.
The flavours, Berry Burst and Lemon Crunch has landed in Krispy Kreme shops, supermarket cabinets, Welcome Break, Road Chef, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Many doughnut fans online went wild over the tasty bakes, with one commenting: ‘Forget the calories I’m going for a dozen all for myself!’
The Berry Burst Krispy Kreme describes itself as fruity, flavourful take on the classic ring doughnut.
It has been dipped in raspberry icing glaze and topped with raspberry flavoured meringue pieces and fruity sugar sprinkles.
While the Lemon Crunch doughnut is dipped in lemon icing glaze and topped with lemon sugar sprinkles and lemon flavoured meringue pieces.
The new 195 KCAL doughnuts will retail at £2.35 each or £10.80 for a six pack of all three low calorie flavours.
