A woman has cautioned anyone getting filler not to ignore advice to avoid alcohol afterwards, after her lips swelled up dramatically.
Taylor-Jay, 21, from the West Yorkshire, took to her TikTok page @taylor.04x to share snap of very swollen lips after she went on a night out shortly after getting the procedure.
She admitted she got ‘absolutely steaming’ just after having filler injected into her lips, even though practitioners recommend abstaining from alcohol for 24 hours to reduce the risk of swelling.

In a video that racked up nearly 75,000 views she wrote: ‘When I got absolutely steaming hours after getting my lips done, despite being warned not to drink.’
She also accompanied the clip with the caption: ‘Thank god they no longer look like this.’
Alcohol is known to increase the chances of swelling, inflammation and bruising for those who have recently had their lips done because it acts as a blood thinner.
Drinking alcohol can also be dehydrating, and it is recommended to drink a lot of water after getting lip fillers so that skin stays hydrated.
