During Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with American chat show host Oprah Winfrey the star wore a dazzling piece of jewellery.
On her wrist, the Duchess of Sussex, 39, chose to wear a bracelet which had previously belonged to Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
Not only this, but it is the same bracelet that the Duke of Sussex removed two stones out of to include in Meghan’s engagement ring.

People magazine explained that the couple wanted Meghan to wear the bracelet in the interview so that Harry’s late mother could be with them.
The Duchess’ engagement ring is made from three diamonds; one larger centrepiece, with too smaller stones flanking it.
The central diamond is from Botswana, a country close to Harry’s heart and the other two are from Diana’s personal collection.

Her engagement ring was so popular its style that The Royal Collection, back in September 2018, released a replica inspired by it.

Also worn by Meghan for the chat with Oprah, which airs on Monday at 9pm on ITV, the star wore earrings by Canadian brand Birks and a necklace by Pippa Small, a British sustainable jewellery designer.
Meghan, who is pregnant with her second child, which was revealed to be a daughter in the interview, wore a black silk dress from Armani which had been embroidered with a lotus flower detail on the right hand side.
It retails for retails for $4,700 which translates as £3,300.
Many royal fans have mused as to whether her dress may in fact have a hidden meaning.

This is because a lotus flower, which is a popular symbol in Hindu iconography, is known to represent spiritual enlightenment, as well as growth and rebirth.
This could be seen as symbolic of Meghan and Harry stepping away from the Royal Family, and moving across the pond to start a new life in southern California.
