Shopper slams boohoo for playsuit that has no zip or opening

Boohoo shopper is shocked to find her £11 playsuit has NO zip or opening – forcing her to try and squeeze her body through the neck hole

  • Steph Thomas, from Manchester, bought a £10.80 tailored sleeveless playsuit
  • But upon opening her purchase, the teacher was disgruntled to find it was faulty
  • The garment had no zips and no opening a part from tiny neck and arm holes

A shopper has slammed Boohoo for sending her a playsuit without a zip or opening.

Steph Thomas, from Manchester, received the £10.80 tall tailored sleeveless playsuit from the UK-based online retailer on Thursday.

But on opening her purchase, the teacher was disgruntled to find that it was apparently faulty – having no zips or an opening for putting the garment on.

Taking to Twitter, the 30-year-old expressed her frustration as she asked the fashion brand: ‘May I ask how you suggest I get into this playsuit which has no zips or openings?!’

But upon opening her purchase (pictured on a model for the brand’s website), the teacher was disgruntled to find that it was faulty – having no zips or an opening for putting the garment on

She continued: ‘I can’t fit my entire body through the neck hole unfortunately…’

The brand was quick to reply to Steph and offer a replacement, which this time happened to have a small opening.

However, to Steph’s frustration, the opening was impossible to get into, with the teacher sharing a photo of her efforts.

She captioned the second tweet to Boohoo with: ‘Thanks @boohoo_cshelp @boohoo for sending me a replacement which HAS an opening!

‘However, I think the neck opening is still not quite big enough for somebody to fit their entire body through….I gave it my best shot and got this far…’

The brand was quick to reply to Steph and offer a replacement, which this time happened to have a small opening (pictured) – but still not one big enough to fit into

Steph explained: ‘It was totally stitched up! The replacement has the tiniest opening, meaning I had to fit my entire body through the neck.

She added: ‘I know playsuits are sometimes hard to get into, but that was another level.’

Although Steph is still awaiting a refund from Boohoo, she insists she won’t completely ditch shopping with the brand.

She said: ‘I would probably shop there again but let’s just say I am glad there is a free returns policy as my experience with their products are either a hit or a massive miss!’

MailOnline has contacted Boohoo for comment.
