Braunwyn Windham-Burke cries over drug accusations during ‘RHOC’ reunion

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” wrapped on Wednesday night, but Shannon Beador is still dishing on the drama from the reunion.

Beador, 56, appeared on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” ahead of the Season 15 reunion finale and revealed why she decided to confront Braunwyn Windham-Burke over her daughter Stella’s claim that the mom-of-seven told her she would get the teen drugs.

“It happened at one of our summer beach barbecues and she didn’t offer her drugs,” Beador told Jeff Lewis. “She said she put her number in Stella’s phone and wrote ‘Cool Mom.’ And she said, ‘There’s a lot of bad drugs out there. If you want the good stuff, text me.’”

She continued, “Stella is … a doll and she didn’t want to be a tattletale or a snitch, so she didn’t tell me. Had I known that it had just happened at my party, I would have handled things completely differently, but I found out about it right before we were going to start filming. And then I’m not going to bring up that issue on camera, because I don’t want to drag my daughter through it. We talked it through and resolved it. And then when Braunwyn was talking about her sobriety, I’m not going to bring that up.”

Windham-Burke, 43, opened the show’s season by revealing that she was an alcoholic and began her sobriety journey. She concluded the season by accusing Beador of having a drinking problem of her own.

“She had the audacity to sit there at the reunion and Andy went around and asked every person, ‘Do you think Shannon has a drinking problem?’” Beador said. “Everyone said no. And then Braunwyn, you know, the saint of all saints, knowing who an alcoholic isn’t said, ‘Yes you are.’ And you know, my response is, you’re basing that on all the times we were drinking together.”

She alleged, “When you passed out [in] my kids bed, I had to call Sean and say, ‘I’m putting her in a car right now.’ That’s where you’re basing your judgment of whether I’m an alcoholic or not. That’s damaging for me. I mean, I’m working super hard on a brand. I am, I did let myself go during COVID and I’m not proud of it, but 2021 is the year of the glow up. And I’m going to change all of that, but don’t put a label on me as an alcoholic. Do I go out and have fun? Yes, I do.”

When confronted over the allegation, Windham-Burke broke down in tears, calling her actions “f—ng disgusting” and confessing, “I think out of all the things I’ve done, that may be the worst.”

On a lighter note, Beador joked that she lost her voice after the taping.

“My voice was hoarse for two weeks after that reunion,” she said. “Cause you had to like — screaming, you had to raise your voice to be heard. Yeah. A lot of screamers on this cast!”
