November 2018 Premium Bonds winning numbers – find out if you won the £1million cash prize

Here's what we know.

How do Premium Bonds work?

Premium Bonds are a savings account you can put money into (and take out when you want), where the interest paid is decided by a monthly prize draw.

You buy £1 bonds and each has an equal chance of winning, so the more you buy, the more your chances improve.

Premium Bonds can be bought via standing order for as little as £50 per month once an account has been opened.

  • Minimum purchase amount: £100 (or £50 for monthly standing orders).
  • Maximum amount you can hold: £50,000.
  • Age limit: Over 16 to buy them; under that age they may be held in the name of under-16s by parents or guardians. Grandparents or great-grandparents can buy then nominate the child’s parent or guardian to hold them.

The winners are picked by a random number generating computer called Ernie (Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment).

Do you have an unclaimed prize?

There are over 1.5 million unclaimed prizes worth just over £60 million.

In Inner London, there are over 119,000 unclaimed prizes worth nearly £4.8 million.

These prizes date back to June 1960, with a prize of £100. The highest unclaimed prize in the region is £50,000, having been won in May 2016.

One woman has £50,000 invested in Premium Bonds since 1956 and the winning Bond number is 340NR182743.

And a man had £48,350 invested, and scooped £1million with bond number 314TY075608.

Who were the November 2018 Premium Bonds winners?

November's first jackpot winners were a man from Cheshire and a woman from Somerset.

Last month a man from Dorset hit the jackpot, winning the £1 million from a £25 prize that was won in October 2010’s draw and reinvested into his total Premium Bonds holding.

He has £19,725 invested and becomes the ninth jackpot winner in the county since the jackpot was introduced in 1994. Agent Million last visited the region in April 2018.
