Fasten your seatbelts, this story is a bumpy ride.
“Bachelor in Paradise” star Noah Erb confessed that a poorly timed kiss with girlfriend Abigail Heringer led to a minor car crash into his house.
“Just took Abigail out to a nice dinner,” Erb explained via Instagram Stories on Thursday. “We were enjoying ourselves, incredible experience, food was great. We hop in the car. We start listening to ‘Annie’ of all things. ‘The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.’”
“It starts raining,” he continued. “The mood is getting right. We get to my house. I stop the car. I look at Abigail and think, ‘Dang, she looks really pretty’ so I start kissing her.”
Alas, things then took a turn, as Erb was too distracted to shift the car to “park.” “I rolled right through my grass and hit my house,” the reality star explained.
“Genuinely, small little kiss turned into me hitting my house,” Erb concluded. “I’ve never done that before. I wouldn’t even think to do that. It’s absurd. But here I am, letting all things go to shambles for a little bit of love.”
Luckily, the accident didn’t relegate their relationship to the backseat. Heringer, 26, and Erb, 26, ended their time on the show with a breakup, but the two have since rekindled their relationship. “Abigail and Noah couldn’t be happier!” Heringer’s rep told Page Six at the time.
Erb and Heringer have since worked at their long-distance relationship, as she lives in New York City and he in Tulsa, Okla. At the moment, the couple is visiting the other post-show couple — Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs — in San Diego, Calif.
