Naomie Olindo is taking the high road.

The former “Southern Charm” star pleaded with fans on social media to stop “sending saying/ sending hateful things” to her ex, Metul Shah, after she appeared to confirm that he cheated on her.

“I am so thankful for all the support you guys are giving me right now,” Olindo, 28, wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story on Tuesday. “Trust me I need it.”

In the post, which was quickly saved and reposted by fans, she added, “This is incredibly embarrassing and I feel so lost, I just ask that you please stop saying/ sending hateful things to Metul.”

The reality star then assured her fans, “I have self respect and will not be getting back together with him, but he is also in a terrible place dealing with the consequences of his actions. Please don’t be mean, he is human, and this situation is punishment enough.”

After the super-fan account @bravobygays reposted the message, Olindo’s supporters were quick to praise her for how much grace she’s shown her allegedly unfaithful ex.

One person wrote, “She’s a great person. I’d be thriving off of people ripping into my cheating ex ?.” Another added, “She is class all the way.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Olindo confirmed on Instagram she and Shah had broken up after three years together, writing, “Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second. betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages.”

Olindo’s agent Paul Desisto confirmed the split to People on Monday, although did not reveal why the couple called it quits. The pair had reportedly moved to New York City together just weeks ago, but the rep said, “She is back in Charleston and plans to stay there for the time being.”

Olindo previously dated her former “Southern Charm” co-star Craig Conover, but they split in September 2017. She exited the Bravo show in July 2020.

Shah did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
