Tributes have been paid to a mum-of-three who was found dead inside her home on Tuesday after a vicious attack.
Suvekshya Burathoki, who was known to friends as Fatima, died in the horror attack in Leicester.
A post-mortem examination found that Fatima, from Nepal, had suffered multiple stab wounds, Leicestershire Live reports.
Lead investigator Detective Inspector Mark Sinski said: “We know that Fatima was subjected to a horrific attack in her own home.
"The person who violently attacked her then left the address.
“To date, a number of people who live in and around Bartholomew Street have been spoken to by detectives, who are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry.
“I would like to reassure people living in Bartholomew Street – and the surrounding area – that I believe this was an isolated incident.”
Friend and neighbour Eelize Jones, 29, was sent a selfie by the 32-year-old, who had two young sons and a young daughter.
The children are understood to have been at home at the time of the fatal attack, which has led to a murder probe being launched.
Eelize described Fatima as "adorable".
The young mum added: “Her daughter was besotted with her, as were her two boys. She loved everybody and would do anything for anybody.
