Meghan, Kate, William and Harry will spend Christmas together, Palace confirms

There has been a LOT of talk about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas plans in the last few weeks amid rumours they’ve fallen out with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

And now Kensington Palace has reportedly finally confirmed what the expectant parents will be doing on the big day – or part of it at least.

Last night there were reports the Sussexes have snubbed an invitation to stay at Kate and Wills’s Norfolk home with George, Charlotte and Louis.

But now the MailOnline has reported the couples’ office has confirmed the Fab Four WILL spend the special day together.

They claim the two couples will all spend the day at the family’s royal estate, however they wouldn’t comment on where they will spend the rest of the festive break.

Harry and mum-to-be Meghan were given the option to stay at nearby Anmer Hall where they had a "fantastic" time last year with the kids, it is reported.

A royal source told the Sun: "There’s not a huge amount of room at Sandringham so it’s quite surprising. Maybe they just want their own space.

"Things are civil between the couples but they don’t spend much time together."

The news comes amid reports of a feud between the two families.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to set up home in Windsor – away from Will and Kate – to raise a family in a quieter setting.

One royal source suggested the move could be down to friction between Meghan and Kate which has driven wedge between the two brothers.

"Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on", an insider told the Daily Mail.

It was also reported that Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland will not be at Sandringham despite being invited, according to the Sun.

Christmas at the royal stately home in Norfolk is a traditional, and sometimes stifling, affair.

Royal biographer Christopher Wilson said: “Sandringham Christmases can be an ordeal, even for those born royal — and generally those who’ve married into the family can’t wait to get away.

The Cambridges will then see Kate’s parents on Boxing Day in Bucklebury, Berkshire.
