Following an impressive victory against the Czech Republic yesterday, Denmark have secured their spot in the Euro 2020 semi-finals.

The squad, who beat their rivals 2-1 in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Saturday leapt for joy thanks to first-half strikes from Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg.

Patrik Schick responded for the Czechs early in the second half to score his fifth goal of the tournament and become the joint-top scorer with Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, Denmark stood firm to book their place in Wednesday’s semi-final at Wembley Stadium, where they will face England. 

The team have been joined on their tournament adventure across Europe by a posse of glamorous wives and girlfriends, who are now set to cheer the squad on against the Three Lions next week. 

The WAGs include the model and Dutch influencer Katrine Friis who regularly shares her support for her Premier League boyfriend Andreas Christensen and Stine Gyldenbrand who runs a charity which organises fundraising events to provide aid to vulnerable and disadvantaged children.    

Also cheering from the sidelines is Anne-Laure Braithwaite, a French journalist and businesswoman who met her footballer husband in Toulouse.

Denmark’s Andreas Christensen’s model girlfriend Katrine Friis lives with her boyfriend in a high-end London flat.

The Dutch influencer, who has 10,000 followers online, spends much of her time abroad, racking up visits to Los Angeles, Portugal and Dubai.

She regularly shares her support for the Premier League boyfriend and in 2019 was seen cheering Christensen on his Europa League win after the Blues beat Arsenal in Baku. 

Last year, Ms Friis shared a throwback picture of the pair on the beach together alongside the caption: ‘Birthday boy’.

The picture was followed by another of Christensen on the beach with the caption: ‘I love you’.

Kasper Schmeichel, who was placed 3rd in The Best FIFA Goalkeeper in 2018, was just 17 when he began dating his wife Stine Gyldenbrand.

After being in a relationship for more than five years, the pair welcomed their first child in 2010.

Ms Gyldenbrand runs a charity called FodBoldDongen which regularly organises fundraising events in an effort to provide aid to vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

The couple, who married in 2015, have two children named Max Schmeichel and Isabella Schmeichel. Max was born in the year 2010 while Isabella was born in 2012.

The pair are often spotted together at big events such as the Fifa Football Awards and have previously shared pictures on Instagram of their date nights.
