Biscuit lovers favourite McVitie’s has unveiled the latest Jaffa Cake treat to be launched, the Jaffa Cake donut – better known as 'The Jonut', which will be available to buy in Iceland.
The Jonut is ring shaped with a soft sponge base and filled with the same tangy orange filling as the original Jaffa Cake, and coated in crackly dark chocolate. Yum.
The unveiling of the Jonut follows the launch of the brands 'berry cool' blackcurrant flavour Jaffa Cakes earlier this week, which will be available to buy at Tesco.com.
Unfortunately Jaffa Cake fans wanting to sample the Jonut will have to sit tight for a little while longer, as the launch date and price is yet to be confirmed.
Snack News & Reviews posted about the new Jaffa Jonuts on its Facebook page, the original post read, "New Jaffa Jonuts coming out soon!"
McVitie's fans wasted no time responding to the post which received 1,400 comments.
One excited fan said: "These look like they’re worth a try!! [Salivating and heart-eye emojis]
Another excited fan commented: "They will be going straight in my basket!"
A third fan tagged in a friend, and added: "These are made for me – Jaffa Donuts xx"
