Man stabbed to death in broad daylight in Ipswich sparking murder inquiry

A man has been stabbed to death in broad daylight in Ipswich sparking a murder inquiry by police.

No details about the identity or age of the man have been released, but police confirmed they were called just before 2pm today.

Paramedics and the air ambulance were also called to the scene in Turin Street but despite best efforts, the man was pronounced dead.

The road has been sealed off with police tape and tonight forensic officers were seen combing the area and taking photographs.

Several police vehicles are also at the scene.

Any witnesses to the incident, anyone with information, or people who were in the area with Dash Cameras are asked to contact South CID at Landmark House on 101.
