Lidl are now selling sun loungers and swimming pools for your dog

The weather is set to hit highs of 31 degrees this week, and while you may be equipped with suncream and a big floppy hat, spare a thought for your furry friends.

If it is hot for humans it is going to be insufferably for some dogs out there, espeially the particularly fluffy ones.

But, as usual Lidl is to the rescue, as they are selling a sun bed specifically designed to keep pets cool in the hot sun. The best part is it only cost £19.99.

The item is set to be released on 25 June in conjunction with the best-loved supermarket brands Pet Week.

The large grey-coloured bed has a sun roof to keep your pooch protected from the boiling hot rays (up to UV 50) and has an open air to design, to keep them from over-heating.

Additionally, if you want to go whole hog and really deck out your garden to be dog-friendly, you can also buy a dog pool for the bargain price of £29.99.

What is a dog pool, you may ask? Well it is a non-inflatable, non-slip pool for you canine pal to lounge about in and relax after a long walkies in the sunshine.

As for having fun with your pet, you can also purchase £6.99 Nerf Water Dog Toys if you want to make some memories in the garden.

This news comes after, earlier this month, Lidl released a 12 foot swimming pool (for humans) that is perfect for keeping cool or lounging by with cocktail in hand.

The best part is that it only costs £99.99, which is an absolute bargain for a pool of that size.

Although it is currently sold out, the 12 foot Steel Pro™ is very easy to assemble.

The Tritech liner is made from durable material that’s been reinforced for strength and puncture resistance.
