Often renowned for their lavish lifestyles, the Kardashian family are well known for knowing how to throw a party, with plenty of glitz, glamour and luxury often bringing their events to life.
Kourtney Kardashian ’s son Mason is also no exception to this rule, as the star splashed the cash this week to help him mark his coming of age milestone, as the 13 year old celebrated his Bar Mitzvah.
Taking the lead in the planning of the lavish bash was Mason’s dad (and Kourtney’s ex) Scott Disick, who took to Instagram to document the entire day from star to finish.
Kicking off the proceedings on Saturday with a traditional Bar Mitzvah ceremony at a local synagogue, the family followed the important occasion with a low-key family meal, before letting the celebration really get into full swing with a reception for Mason’s friends and family held at offsunset, a Sunset Strip nightclub in West Hollywood.
Raised Jewish by his late parents, his religious upbringing was hugely important to Scott, who in turn wanted Mason to experience the same cultural traditions he had – something the youngster appeared to be pleased about as he was spotted partying the night away with his friends and cousins.
Offering fans a sneak peek inside the intimate affair, Scott showcased some of the decorations inside the venue, including plenty of metallic silver balloons, and an intricate backdrop adorned with the Star of David and the words “Mason’s Bar Mitzvah” in an elaborate cursive script.
Crediting the decorating to events company Balloon and Paper, the decor perfectly complimented the club’s interiors, which already featured leather and velvet chesterfield sofas in a range of rich berry toned hues.
Towers of balloons and tinsel garlands were also spotted throughout the club, lining the corridors and staircases, a glimpse of which was shared by the company itself.
The event also featured a very unique form of catering, as Scott later explained he had decked out the lavish affair with plenty of food trucks which provided a variety of kosher meals ranging from chicken fingers through to churros and ice cream.
It also wouldn’t be a party without the Kardashian’s themselves in attendance either, with Khloe Kardashian also documenting her time at the event alongside her nieces Penelope and North.
Looking as glamorous as ever as the children struck a pose, Khloe wrote: “Mazel Tov Mason!!! The girls and I attempted to take some pics.”
With "attempted" being the operative word, the mischievous youngsters could be seen pulling faces and grinning as Khloe tried in vain to take a nice photograph of the trio.
To mark the occasion, proud grandma Kris Jenner also shared a heartfelt post to the birthday boy – and his younger brother Reign, five, who also happened to share the very same birthday.
She wrote: “Happy birthday to two of the brightest lights in my life, my beautiful grandsons, Mason and Reign!”
“Mason, you are my first-born grandson, and I am so very proud of you each and every day! You’ve grown into such an amazing young man, and I adore you.”
She then continued: “Reign, you are the funniest!!!! You are one special guy with so many facets to your personality!!!”
Paying tribute to both of her grandsons, Kris then added: "Both of you have the most amazing qualities and are kind, considerate, loving, so smart, so talented in so many ways, and such a special magical part of our family … AND it’s wild that you were born on the very same day!!!! Five years apart!!!!”
Finally she ended the post with an emotional and heartfelt admission as she wrote: “You are both the best sons, grandsons, brothers, nephews, and friends to all of us and I love you so much!!!!!!! Lovey xoxo”
