On this Christmas Eve, Jenni “JWoww” Farley is thankful that her 2-year-old son, who has been diagnosed with autism, is making progress with his speech.
The mom of two shared a video to her Instagram page documenting Greyson’s journey from May 26 to Dec. 20. The footage, which is a compilation of home videos, starts off with the child being non-responsive to his mother’s calls – Farley tries to get him to say “papa” and “mama” to no avail.
Fast-forward to clips from December and Greyson is verbally interacting with his mom and saying words like “hot” and “yellow.”
“I’m so proud of him and thankful for everyone’s love and support throughout this journey,” Farley expressed in her post.

On an episode of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation,” Farley said that Greyson wasn’t speaking yet and was having trouble understanding things. Last month, she revealed that her son had been diagnosed with autism and was receiving speech therapy.
“It was really heartbreaking and frustrating as a mom when you see other two-year-olds that are speaking and living their best life,” Farley told Hollywood Life. “Greyson is living his best life. He just doesn’t know what you are saying!”
