Fans who had a meltdown when Jason Momoa shaved off his beard last month can breathe a sigh of relief.
The “Aquaman” actor, 39, already seems to be growing back his facial hair.
While making a surprise appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with “Game of Thrones” creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, Momoa showed off his new stubble while laughing and posing for paps.
Momoa made the decision to change up his look as a stunt to bring attention to climate change. “I just want to do this to bring awareness. Plastics are killing our planet,” he said in a YouTube video in the middle of a polluted Jordanian desert. He also revealed that he has developed his own brand of aluminum cans filled with flat water, sparkling water and alkaline water, stating that aluminum is infinitely recyclable.
While Momoa did say goodbye to his “GoT” character Khal Drogo in the video, it seems like he isn’t as comfortable with a bare face as former co-star Kit Harington, who axed his Jon Snow look after filming for the eight and final season wrapped.
Perhaps wife Lisa Bonet had something to do with the return of the scruff.
